I am so excited for the next product.  So many of you have asked me about water filters.  There are so many types of water filters.  Remember, we want to have water filtration capabilities for all THREE scenarios.  This particular water filter will be for our STAY AT HOME or DRIVE AWAY.  If you need to filter your pool water or lake/river water or just even question if the water in your water barrels is safe, you will want this water filtration system.  NOTE:  This WILL NOT purify salt water swimming pools.

Technology is always evolving.  I believe that this new product is at the absolute top for water filtration technology.  It uses state-of-the-art Nano fiber water filtration and was co-developed by NASA.   It is fast flow which is also a crucial part for disaster situations.  Typical home water filtration systems flow at about 1 gallon per hour.  This filter flows at 12 gallons per hour.  Detailed information will be on the product page on the website.  Here are a few highlights:

• They are not a mechanical filter media that relies on pore size to remove contaminants

• The active fibers are 2 nm in diameter and approximately 250 nm in length

Advantages over RO Membrane which work on the basis of mechanical filtration and the need for high pressure and small pore size to remove Sub-micron particles.

The extremely small pore size of a membrane cause low flow rates. High water waste is also an issue with RO systems, as much as 5 gallons is needed to produce one gallon of water

Nano-fiber media has a much larger physical pore sizes which allows for higher flow rates, lower pressure drop, and can still remove Sub-micron particles due to the inherent charge field which extends across the entire void volume of the pores. There’s no water loss, 100% of the water passes through filtration
